Terms of Service
1. The service
This is an AI-assisted game narrative design tool: you provide the idea and canon, the service calls large language models to generate structured narrative artifacts, and keeps their version history inside your project.
2. Accounts and the free grant
Signing up requires a verifiable email address. Once verified, 100 points are granted once, once per account; disposable email domains are excluded. The free grant is an operational measure — we may change or stop it, and points already granted are unaffected.
3. Points
- Points never expire. As long as the account exists, so do its points
- Before generation starts, a worst-case amount (every retry used) is held; when the job finishes it settles on real usage and the remainder is returned immediately. The actual charge is usually well below the held amount
- A run that still fails validation after three attempts is refunded (fully for structural failures, half otherwise)
- Points are non-transferable, non-withdrawable and cannot be exchanged for cash
- Price changes do not affect points already bought and not yet spent. The price tag changes; the points in your account stay the same number of points
- When the balance is zero or negative, only new generation is paused. Browsing, editing, comparing and exporting what you already have is unaffected
4. Purchases and refunds
Top-ups are completed by Link (Stripe) as merchant of record; your receipt and bank statement show the purchase as Sold through Link. The purchase contract is with them, not with us, and tax calculation and the processing of refunds are handled by them.
Prices shown in the app are net; tax for your location is added at checkout, and the checkout page is authoritative for the final amount. We never see your card number.
Points are credited the moment payment completes, and performance of the service begins at that point. At checkout you are asked to expressly agree to immediate performance and to acknowledge that, once the points are credited, you lose the statutory right of withdrawal for that purchase.
Beyond what the law requires, we voluntarily offer more than that:
- If you have not spent a single point since that top-up, you can request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase
- A top-up you have started spending is not refundable, and is not refunded pro rata — points are treated as delivered once used
- Bonus points are excluded from the refund amount
- Refunds go back to the original payment method; see the contact details in the Impressum to request one
- Link may also grant refunds outside the above at its own discretion (their window is 60 days from the original transaction) — that is between you and them
Points are non-transferable, non-withdrawable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
5. Your content
What you write and what is generated for you in this service is yours. We process it only to provide the service (storing, generating, validating, exporting) and for nothing else. You can export a whole project as a git repository with its version history at any time.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service to generate unlawful content, do not circumvent the quota and billing mechanisms, and do not abuse the API in an automated fashion. We may suspend accounts that do.
7. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available but do not promise uninterrupted operation. Output is produced by large language models and needs your own judgement before use — human-in-the-loop review is the premise of this tool (you can lock fields, and no generation overwrites locked content).
8. Changes
Terms and prices may change. There is no retroactive effect on points already bought and not yet spent; material changes are announced in the app in advance.
9. Governing law and operator
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Operator details are in the Impressum; data processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
